Given the complexity of requirements by country, legislative considerations and cultural conventions, organizations are challenged to deliver and manage an integrated global benefits program. This webcast will review the key factors and administrative considerations of successfully managing a benefits program across different regions.
The agenda for this session is focused on two aspects of global benefits management: governance and administration. We will also consider employee communications and explore some implemented strategies for success.
Why attend
Mercer will provide an update on what we’re hearing from multinational organizations and suggested strategies for success. We will discuss:
-
Benefits governance - how are local/regional/global decisions that impact benefit programs made? Which are typically made at the local/regional/global level?
-
Examples of governance structures of multinational organizations
-
Global benefits administration – what are the advantages/disadvantages of having a global or local provider when it comes to delivering on benefit program requirements?
-
The employee experience - how is employee communication / employee support regarding benefits across different “types” of locations (e.g., large vs. small populations, complex vs. simple environments) handled?
Who should attend
HR/benefits professionals with responsibilities for overseeing global benefit programs administration.
