Life & Pensions survey

Mercer has topped the polls in an annual survey by Life & Pensions magazine. It was ranked number one in four different categories: "overall consultants", "investment consulting – manager selection", "administration and technology" and "strategic advice". Mercer was also ranked second in all other areas of consulting -"longevity risk management", "ALM/LDI advice" and "pensions actuarial/valuation/accounting". Competition was very close in a number of these categories, with Mercer just a percentage point below the number one ranked company.

Michael Blackshear, senior vice president and south zone compliance officer at Marsh, was also honored. Both were selected by a cross-MMC panel from a national pool of candidates nominated by the MMC operating companies.
